“Why is my life still the same?”

Often when peo­ple start on a spi­ri­tual path, they want change to hap­pen ins­tantly.  When mirac­les are not forth­co­ming, they won­der what piece of wis­dom are they missing. 

Change isn’t just a mat­ter of insights and unders­tan­ding.  Change is not just about thin­king.  Change is a battle!  At every moment, we have to put all our strength into the war against our Nega­tive Side — and I have cho­sen the word “war” very deli­be­ra­tely because that’s exactly what it is.

From this week’s energy we will gain the strength to go all out for vic­tory in this war.  The strength we get makes it easier to see how we are our own worst enemy.  This is the most posi­tive change that could pos­sibly happen.

It’s like two foot­ball teams pre­pa­ring for the Sun­day game.  They spend time watching film reels to get to know their opponent’s tac­tics, game plans, weak­nes­ses and strengths.  That’s what we need to do this week.  We can­not win a war if we don’t know who we are up against. 

The good news is you live with your Oppo­nent.  The Oppo­nent is you.  Your grea­ter self is there too, just wai­ting for you to tap into it.

The ques­tion is, are you willing to do what it takes to triumph and see real change in your life?
